How do I book a class?

Since we teach online, we work with students in different counties & time zones all over the world. We’re setup to handle that.

You’ll get to pick your own times from our list of available slots on a Google Calendar in your local timezone. Head over to our booking page once you’ve checked out the prices.

How is this different from High School Spanish classes?

High school Spanish often focuses on vocabulary memorization and grammar with very little practical application of the language.

Dynamo Spanish picks up where your high school Spanish teacher left off. You’ll learn to speak Spanish and have conversations about real life events and experiences with a native speaker. You’ll train your auditory skills and develop the confidence to express yourself in Spanish.

Also, you’ll be working one-on-one with a native speaker instead of sitting in a large classroom of other students.

Dynamo Spanish offers:

  • Auditory lessons that include conversational practice as well as audio and video files
  • Lessons adapted to your skill level and needs
  • Professional staff of native speakers
  • One-on-one lessons

How do I pay for my Spanish lessons?

Most students pay for Dynamo Spanish classes via PayPal or US$ via bank transfer. You’ll find full details on our payment methods page.

How long is each online Spanish lesson?

Our standard Spanish lessons are 1.5 hours. But if your schedule demands either longer or shorter lessons, we can tailor our classes to meet your needs.

Will I get Spanish homework?

Yes. Dynamo Spanish has designed each course level to include approximately 15 hours of lessons accompanied by 30 hours of homework.

Benefits of homework include:

  • Reinforcing material learned during class
  • Increasing your fluency
  • Allowing you to study on your own time at your own pace. Increasing your independence and confidence

What are the classes like?

Our online Spanish classes are just like chatting with a friend – only in Spanish! We’ve helped hundreds of students start talking Spanish from their very first lesson.

How long does it take to become fluent in Spanish?

Each of our Spanish levels is designed to be completed in 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each, including 30 hours of homework.

Our Spanish lessons use a lot of practical elements including auditory lessons and conversational practice. In addition, we address grammar and vocabulary themes and build on them over time through practical use.

Our method of teaching will bring you to fluency more quickly than if you tried to learn from a book or worked with Rosetta Stone or other similar language learning programs.

Can I cancel or move my Spanish classes?

Of course! We simply ask for 24 hours notice to move or cancel any Spanish class, otherwise we – unfortunately – have to charge you in full for the class per our cancellation policy.

Am I too old to learn Spanish?

Definitely not! As language teachers, people often ask us “What’s the easiest language to learn?” Our answer: “The language you want to learn.” There’s no perfect age to learn a language. The most important factor in learning anything is having the desire to learn. If you have that, the rest is easy.

If you want to learn Spanish, it doesn’t matter if you’re 10 or 100 years old.

Can you teach specialized lessons?

Yes. We’re lucky to have an incredible team with expertise in various fields. We can offer:

Do I need to have learned a language before?

No. Whether this is the first language you’re learning outside of English or the tenth, you’ll find that learning a new language is a very interesting experience and very individual. Many students have different learning styles and talents.

As you move forward with your lessons, you’ll begin to develop a sense of your learning style and rhythm. Our teachers will identify strengths and weaknesses and tailor your lessons to build your confidence and skills.

What hardware/software do I need?

Whether you have a PC or Mac (or even a linux box!) – it doesn’t matter, so long as you can run Skype or Google Hangouts. Learn everything you need here

How many classes per week do you recommend?

We recommend taking a minimum of three lessons per week in order to ensure steady learning. Feel free to sign up for more or less depending on your availability.

Can I design my own course?

Our goal is to help you learn to speak Spanish. If you have specific needs or a specific goal or idea on how to accomplish that, we’re here to support you. Contact us, we’d love to hear your ideas.
